January 2009 — "Visited again in January 2009 with my family and the experience & sense of adventure just does not diminish. A big thankyou to Mandy & all her very hard working team for the adventure and if you get a chance, you have to experience the fun and sense of adventure that driving your own (albeit for a few hours) dog team delivers. These guys certainly deliver and their knowledge & experience is awesome. Many thanks guys & I'm comin' back."

January 2007 — "I visit Jasper every year in January with my wife & daughter. The first time I did this tour I was hooked. Got to drive my own team on both first & second visits, unfortunately did not book a tour last year but will be there again in January 2009. Great, professional & very friendly (especially the dogs). I combined the tour with snowmobiling one year and in my opinion the sledding wins hands down. An unbelievable experience for all ages and so much fun. This is something everyone should experience before they die. Got me to thinking if I could raise the money and complete the qualifying requirements for the Iditarod or Yukon Quest. Ah well it's good to dream."

BulletDescription

One of Canada's oldest forms of transportation, dog sledding is an exhilarating way to traverse across the snow. Cold Fire Creek offers tours that journey along century old trap line trails on a two-person sled led by a team of eight beautiful, Alaskan huskies. Views of frozen waterwalls, snow-covered pine trees and majastic mountain panoramas are part and parcel of these tours. Trips range in price and length and could include lunch, bonfire, hot toddies and tapas. As dogsledding tours are not permitted in the park, tours depart from Valemount (120 kms from Jasper).
