August 2009 — "Edmonton Skydive Center exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to skydiving. My first jump was a "Tandem" and I was very lucky to have a Tandem Master that made me feel very comfortable immediately. Jumping with someone with more than 7000 jumps behind him gives a person a whole lot of reassurance and confidence when jumping for the first time.
It was so amazing I had to try the "Solo" jump. The first jump course was so informative and thorough, you'd have to be a complete moron not to understand what you need to do to be safe when jumping alone.
Edmonton Skydive Center at Westlock, AB is my first choice for skydiving and I probably won't ever jump with anyone else."

SSA challenges you to join us in our Thrill Seekers Challenge!
This year’s thrill –- Tandem SKYDIVING!
“Imagine the excitement as you stand at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000ft, the adrenaline as you fall through the clouds for 6o seconds of freefalling, travelling over 200KPH and the pride and sense of achievement you'll feel as you land. What a feeling!”
Thrill Seeker Challenge will be held at our branch locations in Calgary, Camrose, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and Red Deer!
All you have to do is…
• Register early online or call your local SSA branch. Registration deposit is $20.
• Challenge your boss, coworkers and friends – see what their really made of!
• Raising a minimum of $500 in pledges will earn you the privilege of skydiving tandem- style at no cost.
• Collect all your pledges and hand them in by Commitment Day which will be one week before the jump date at your location
• Show up at your jump location on Jump Day and just do it!
It’s important you register early! If you register by March 15 you will be entered to win a trip for two to Jasper, compliments of VIA rail!
After your challenge is complete, you will receive a Certificate of Completion to prove you did it!
