The first weekend in December, the world's finest female skiers descend on Lake Louise for a World Cup Downhill and Super G competition. In addition to being able to view the finishing area of the race, the event will feature entertainment for the whole family, including giveaways and contests.
Women's World Cup Super G

Every year at the start of the World Cup ski racing season, the sport's women athletes hit the slopes of Lake Louise for the Downhill and Super G events. The Super G is held on one day, usually following the Downhill event.
Heavy Metal Rail Jam

The Heavy Metal Rail Jam is an annual Lake Louise event featuring skiers and riders of all ages competing on rails and boxes for thousands of dollars in cash and product prizes. Competitors must have valid lift ticket, helmet and parental consent if under 18.
Santa at Lake Louise

Lake Louise skiers and families can visit Santa on the slopes when he visits Lake Louise Mountain Resort, and enjoy a photo with the Claus for free. Santa and his elves will be found at the Lodge of Ten Peaks from 11am-2pm.

The Lake Louise Torchlight Dinner and Ski is a must see and do, offering an evening gala complete with appetizers, a full buffet dinner, live entertainment and a guided torchlight ski down the mountain.
Lake Louise Summit Cup

The Summit Cup is a Lake Louise tradition and is held every April on the mountain. The event features a dual slalom race for amateurs that showcase skills developed over the winter season.
Downhill at Dusk - Apres Ski Party

Downhill at Dusk is a series of weekly après ski parties, held every Friday throughout the winter ski season at Lake Louise Mountain Resort. The events feature drinks, appetizers and live music at the mid-mountain Whitehorn Lodge, followed by fresh tracks down freshly groomed runs to the Sitzmark Lounge, where more food and entertainment await.
Doug Meyers Memorial Race

This annual ski race, sponsored by the Lake Louise Ski Club, is held in March and celebrates the life of Canadian skier, Doug Meyers. The memorial cup is held over two days at the Lake Louise Ski Area and features giant slalom and slalom racing.
Junior Big Mountain Challange

This annual challenge is held at the Lake Louise Ski Area and sees Canadian Junior athletes competing in three days of exciting and competitive freeskiing. The competition features three age categories for children and teens aged seven to 17.
Big Mountain Challenge

This annual Big Mountain competition at Lake Louise is sponsored by Smith Optics and features freeskiers from across North America competing on different terrain over three days. Competitors must be 18 or older, open to both men and women.
Peanut Butter & Rail Jam

The Peanut Butter and Rail Jam is sponsored by Volcom and is an amateur snowboard contest series at Lake Louise Mountain Resort. The competition features four divisions: 15 & under, 16 & over, Girls and Open (pro-am).
Lake Louise Annual Slopestyle

This annual ski and snowboard event is hosted by Lake Louise Mountain Resort and features athletes laying down some huge jumps in hopes of winning the huge cash purse. The competition includes six categories: Women's Open Ski, Women's Open Snowboard, Men's Junior Ski (15 and under), Men's Junior Snowboard (15 and under), Men's Open Ski and Men's Open Snowboard.
Lake Louise Spring Music Sessions

Every spring, Lake Louise Ski Resort hosts a series of Spring Music Sessions that feature live bands, bbqs and cold beverages. The sessions are held each weekend in April at the base of the ski resort.
