Centrally located just two blocks from Main Street, the Canmore Skating Pond is popular with locals and visitors. Many winter activities take place here, such as Skate with Santa, Kid & Mutt Races, Ice Carving and New Years celebrations. Everyone is welcome to come and skate at this rink maintained by the Canmore Parks department. Sticks and pucks, however, are not permitted. Features include picnic tables and night lights on until 10pm.
